Certified clients may use the Accredion Qualis certification mark to publicise their certification, subject to the rules below. Misuse of the mark is grounds for suspension or withdrawal of certification.
Trademark status
The Accredion Qualis name and mark are the certification-body brand of ScudoCyber Solutions Private Limited. Trademark registration is currently in progress; artwork and usage rules will be finalized on registration.
Where the mark may be used
- On corporate stationery, letterheads, business cards and email signatures.
- On the client's own website, brochures, marketing materials and reports.
- On uniforms, vehicles, buildings and signage — only where all covered locations and activities fall within the certified scope.
- In advertising and press releases relating to certified activities.
Where the mark must not be used
- On a product itself, its packaging, or product-conformity labels — a management-system certificate does not certify products.
- On test reports, calibration certificates, inspection reports or product declarations of conformity — these are not covered by the certificate.
- In any manner that implies certification of activities outside the certified scope.
- In a way that suggests Accredion Qualis has responsibility for the client's products or services.
- Together with the mark of an accreditation body where such use is not authorized under an accredited scope.
Presentation and artwork
- Use the mark only as supplied by Accredion Qualis — do not alter the artwork, colours, aspect ratio or proportions.
- The mark must be printed at a size at which the certification number remains legible.
- The client's own name or brand must be shown at least as prominently as the mark.
- Where the certified scope covers only some sites or activities, this must be clearly stated wherever the mark appears.
Statements of certification
Certified clients may make statements such as "Accredion Qualis-certified to ISO/IEC 27001 for [scope]" or similar. Statements must not be misleading and must accurately reflect the certified scope and current status.
On suspension or withdrawal
Immediate action required
On suspension or withdrawal of certification, the client must immediately cease all use of the Accredion Qualis certification mark and any statement of Accredion Qualis certification, and must within 10 working days retrieve, destroy or amend all documents, marketing materials and advertisements referring to the certification.
Enforcement
Accredion Qualis monitors the use of the certification mark. Misuse is treated as a nonconformity under the certification agreement and, if not corrected, may result in suspension or withdrawal of certification and legal action to enforce the mark.
