DPDP Act Internship Program

Program Overview

This internship program aims to equip participants with a deep understanding of the Data Protection and Privacy Act (DPDP Act) in India and its practical application within organizations. Participants will gain hands-on experience in developing essential documentation, including policies, procedures, forms, templates, and risk assessments, to ensure compliance with the DPDP Act.

Program Objectives

  • To provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the DPDP Act and its implications for organizations.
  • To develop participants’ skills in drafting essential documentation for DPDP Act compliance.
  • To foster practical knowledge of data protection and privacy principles.
  • To identify and nurture potential candidates for permanent employment within Scudo Cyber Solutions.

Program Structure

The program will be a one-month intensive internship, divided into two primary phases:

  1. Theoretical Foundation:
    • Introduction to the DPDP Act and its key principles.
    • Overview of data protection and privacy concepts.
    • Analysis of case studies and best practices.
  2. Practical Application:
    • Development of essential documentation, including:
      • Data Privacy Policy
      • Data Retention Policy
      • Data Breach Response Plan
      • Consent Forms
      • Risk Assessment Templates
      • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Review and feedback on drafted documents.

Participant Requirements

  • Undergraduate or postgraduate students in computer science, law, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in data protection and privacy.
  • Good understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools.
